On Tuesday, April 20th, 2004 I had the privilege of attending a seminar in Brandon Manitoba that had Brock as the guest speaker. The seminar was hosted by the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) to which I am currently the Past President of Brandon’s Chapter.
Brock’s focus for the seminar was Getting To The Heart of Our Challenges At Work And In Life. On a personal level I was very touched and inspired, not only by Brock’s own story, but also by his philosophies on life and the way he delivered his message to the audience. This is the first time I have ever been to a seminar where I regretted that it had to end. Brock is a very motivating and inspiring man and I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to hear him speak.
As a member of the organizing committee for Brock’s seminar I was privy to the evaluations filled in by guests at the end of the seminar and for the first time ever there was not one single negative remark about the speaker. It is truly an extraordinary feat to be able to touch so many people in such a way that there could only be good things to say about him.
Kudos to Brock for his exceptional gift of touching people in a way that makes them stop and truly think about who they are and what they want to be.
