Hi Brock!
I just wanted to follow up with you after your heart-felt presentation to our staff and students at VCMT. I am sincerely grateful for the stories your shared, the knowledge and experience you’ve gathered and your amazing heart.
VCMT believes in excellence in education. Often times that pursuit of excellence causes temporary tunnel vision and we begin to lose ourselves or forget our purpose. Thank you for reminding us all of our ‘WHY’! Your thoughtful quotes and charismatic stories helped brighten our day and re-ignite the passion we have in our hearts and for our vocation.
A couple of your quotes were truly encouraging for our students:
“… I’ll never find out what I can do unless I do all I can to find out”
“… it takes a lot of hard work to get a mark… it takes a lot of ‘heart’ work to leave a mark.”
Lastly, far above and beyond excellence in education, VCMT fosters a supportive, collaborative, caring and compassionate learning environment. That is why for me personally, the following quote resonates with me:
