Great story…my bike was stolen from our parking garage in the West End…2 days later i went to Main & Hastings & a guy tried to sell it to me for $30…his jaw dropped when i said “i’m not in the habit of buying my ‘own’ bicycle!”  – it was stripped down with all the accessories missing, but he had cleaned & tuned up the bike & i got it back….yes, for free!:-)
